The Galloway School

With 11 unique park partners like the Galloway School, it's no wonder that Chastain Park is where Atlanta comes to play!

Established in 1969 as independant day school, The Galloway Schools serves students age three through grade 12.  The school was founded at the site in Chastain Park which formerly housed the Fulton County almshouse.  The school later purchased eight acres from the county and has expanded to six buildings serving a diverse student body of approximately 750 students from more than 40 zip codes.

Galloway is a philosophically grounded and learner-focused school. Through innovation, enthusiasm, and high expectations, Galloway draws students joyfully into an abiding love for life-long learning and prepares them to live successfully as enlightened citizens in a changing world.
